Les catastrophes ont tendance \u00e0 avoir un effet \u00e0 long terme sur les personnes qui les vivent, que ce soit de premi\u00e8re, de seconde ou de troisi\u00e8me main. Alors que leur nature et leur dur\u00e9e peuvent diff\u00e9rer, les catastrophes peuvent mener \u00e0 des politiques temporaires qui pourraient \u00eatre appliqu\u00e9es pendant d'autres \u00e9v\u00e9nements. Les personnes enceintes qui vivent la pand\u00e9mie de COVID-19 ont fait l'exp\u00e9rience de politiques nouvelles (ou changeantes) et des directives qui ont eu des effets diff\u00e9rents sur leur sant\u00e9 mentale et physique pendant leur grossesse. En sondant leurs exp\u00e9riences, nous pourrons possiblement aider les d\u00e9cideurs politiques du futur confront\u00e9s \u00e0 une catastrophe diff\u00e9rente, \u00e0 \u00e9laborer des lignes directrices\nadapt\u00e9es aux circonstances mais aussi protectrices du bien-\u00eatre physique et mental des femmes pendant leur grossesse.<\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\t <\/div>\n\t \t<\/div>\n\t\t <\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\t\t <\/div>\n\t \t<\/div>\n\t\t <\/div>\n\t \n\t<\/div>\n\t\n\t\t\n\t

Les directives de sant\u00e9 publique sp\u00e9cifiques \u00e0 la pand\u00e9mie (restrictions, distanciation sociale, fermetures d'\u00e9coles et de commerces, restrictions de voyages, quarantaines, enseignement \u00e0 distance, t\u00e9l\u00e9travail) et politiques hospitali\u00e8res (visites en personne ou en ligne, pr\u00e9sence d\u2019un accompagnateur) peuvent avoir affect\u00e9 la sant\u00e9 mentale et physique des femmes enceintes pendant leur grossesse. Le questionnaire\nd\u00e9velopp\u00e9 pour l'\u00e9tude CONCEPTION est un outil que l\u2019on utilise pour mesurer le stress additionnel et les autres effets ressentis reli\u00e9s \u00e0 la pand\u00e9mie.<\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\t <\/div>\n\t \t<\/div>\n\t\t <\/div>\n\t \n\t<\/div>\n\t\n\t\t\n\t

Notre \u00e9tude a d\u00e9but\u00e9 au mois de juin 2020. Nous avons recueilli des exp\u00e9riences pendant les multiples vagues et phases de la pand\u00e9mie de la COVID-19. La collaboration de nos participantes est donc primordiale pour nous permettre de comparer le stress et fardeau subi par les personnes enceintes \u00e0 diff\u00e9rents moments de la pand\u00e9mie. De plus, nous pouvons comparer la valeur ajout\u00e9e du fardeau v\u00e9cu pendant la pand\u00e9mie \u00e0 celui subi lorsqu'il n'y avait pas de pand\u00e9mie gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 d'autres mesures \u00e0 notre\ndisposition.<\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\t <\/div>\n\t \t<\/div>\n\t\t <\/div>\n\t \n\t<\/div>\n\t\n\t\t\n\t

Des catastrophes peuvent survenir \u00e0 tout moment, et bien qu\u2019il soit possible qu'une autre pand\u00e9mie ne se reproduise pas, des directives similaires \u00e0 celles mises en place en place pendant la pand\u00e9mie de COVID-19 pourraient \u00eatre \u00e0 nouveau n\u00e9cessaires. Our Mindset<\/h1>\n

Catastrophes tend to have a lasting effect on the people living through them, be it first, second, or third hand. While their nature and length may differ, catastrophes may lead to temporary policies that could be applied during other events. Pregnant women living through the pandemic of COVID-19 have experienced new (or changing) policies and guidelines that have had different effects on their mental and physical health during their pregnancies. In surveying their experiences, we may be able to help policymakers of the future who face a different catastrophe develop guidelines adapted to the circumstances but also protective of the welfare of women during their pregnancy.<\/p>\n

Objectives<\/h1>\n

Determine<\/h1>\n

Pandemic-specific public health guidelines (restrictions, social distancing, school and commerce closures, travel
restrictions, quarantines, distance learning, telework) and hospital policies (in person or online visits, companion
presence) may have affected pregnant women\u2019s mental and physical health during their pregnancy. The questionnaire
developed for the CONCEPTION Study is a tool to measure the added stress and other effects experienced.<\/p>\n

Compare<\/h1>\n

Our study having started in summer 2020, we have gathered experiences in multiple waves and phases of the COVID-19
pandemic. The collaboration of our participants, therefore, is paramount in allowing us to compare the stress and
burden experienced by pregnant women in different moments of the pandemic. Moreover, we can compare the added
burden lived during the pandemic to that experienced when there was no pandemic through other measures at our
disposal.<\/p>\n

Inform<\/h1>\n

Catastrophes may occur at any time, and while another pandemic may not happen again, guidelines similar to those put
in place in during the COVID-19 pandemic may be needed again. To limit the burden on the health of pregnant women
and their future child in future catastrophes, the findings the CONCEPTION Study will be able to provide policymakers
with enough knowledge to decide on guidelines and policies that are mindful of the welfare of women during their
