Elle est professeure titulaire d'\u00e9pid\u00e9miologie p\u00e9rinatale \u00e0 l'Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al pour la Facult\u00e9 de pharmacie et pour le CHU Ste-Justine \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al ; et professeure associ\u00e9e \u00e0 la Facult\u00e9 de m\u00e9decine de l'Universit\u00e9 Claude Bernard \u00e0 Lyon, France. Anick B\u00e9rard est titulaire d'une chaire de recherche du Canada de niveau 1 sur les m\u00e9dicaments et la grossesse et de la Chaire de recherche Louis-Boivin de l'UdeM sur les \u00ab M\u00e9dicaments, grossesse et allaitement \u00bb.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Anick B\u00e9rard est \u00e9galement directrice de l'unit\u00e9 de recherche sur les m\u00e9dicaments et la grossesse au CHU Ste-Justine ; directrice du R\u00e9seau qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois de recherche sur les m\u00e9dicaments du FRQS ; membre de l\u2019Acad\u00e9mie Canadienne en Sciences de la Sant\u00e9 ; Fellow du International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology; et membre votant de la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de t\u00e9ratologie. Anick B\u00e9rard est l'investigatrice principale de l'\u00e9tude de i) la Canadian Mother-Child Cohort (CAMCCO) Active Surveillance Initiative, ii) la Canadian Mother-Child Collaborative Training Platform (CAMCCO-L), iii) l\u2019\u00e9tude pancanadienne CONCEPTION \u2013 COVID-19 et grossesse, iv) de la Cohorte des grossesses et enfants du Qu\u00e9bec, v) de l\u2019AMerican PREGNANcy\/ Child CohorT (AM-PREGNANT) et v) de la French National Pregnancy Cohort, PregMed-France.<\/p>\n<p>Anick B\u00e9rard a publi\u00e9 plus de 600 articles scientifiques, r\u00e9sum\u00e9s et brevets, et elle a obtenu plus de 33 millions de dollars de financement des IRSC, de la FCI et du FRQS en tant que chercheuse principale. Elle est membre du Center for Health Outcomes Research (CORE) de l'Institut de recherche du Centre universitaire de sant\u00e9 McGill et scientifique principale affili\u00e9e au programme Maladies infectieuses et immunit\u00e9 en sant\u00e9 mondiale. Le Dr Bernatsky est l'IP d\u00e9sign\u00e9 de l'\u00e9quipe CAN-AIM (R\u00e9seau canadien pour les m\u00e9thodes interdisciplinaires avanc\u00e9es pour la recherche sur l'efficacit\u00e9 comparative), un r\u00e9seau de recherche pancanadien financ\u00e9 par le R\u00e9seau sur l'innocuit\u00e9 et l'efficacit\u00e9 des m\u00e9dicaments (RIEM), une collaboration entre les IRSC et la Sant\u00e9 Canada. Le mandat de l'\u00e9quipe CAN-AIM est de fournir de nouvelles donn\u00e9es pr\u00e9cises sur les r\u00e9sultats r\u00e9els \u00e0 long terme des th\u00e9rapies m\u00e9dicamenteuses. Son travail sur l'innocuit\u00e9 et l'efficacit\u00e9 des m\u00e9dicaments comprend un r\u00e9cent projet national visant \u00e0 \u00e9tablir un registre des patients expos\u00e9s \u00e0 des agents biosimilaires et \u00e0 leurs anciens m\u00e9dicaments. En 2020, Ana\u00efs Lacasse a obtenu une bourse de recherche Junior 2 du FRQ-S en partenariat avec l\u2019Unit\u00e9 Soutien-SRAP du Qu\u00e9bec. Elle dirige le Laboratoire de recherche en \u00e9pid\u00e9miologie de la douleur chronique financ\u00e9 par la Fondation de l'Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec en Abitibi-T\u00e9miscamingue (FUQAT), en partenariat avec des entreprises locales : la Pharmacie Jean-Coutu de Rouyn-Noranda (pharmacie communautaire) et Glencore Fonderie Horne (fonderie de cuivre). Tout en finalisant sa th\u00e8se, elle est \u00e9galement pharmaco\u00e9pid\u00e9miologiste du Dre B\u00e9rard au Centre de recherche du CHU Sainte-Justine et coordonnatrice principale de l'\u00e9tude CONCEPTION. Elle dirige l'Observatoire pour l'\u00e9ducation et la sant\u00e9 des enfants <em>(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.observatoireenfants.ca\/en\/\">http:\/\/observatoireenfants.ca\/<\/a>) <\/em>et le Groupe de recherche sur l'inadaptation psychosociale des enfants <em>(GRIP: <a href=\"https:\/\/grip-info.ca\/\">https:\/\/grip-info.ca\/<\/a>). <\/em>Elle \u00e9tudie les trajectoires de vie, commen\u00e7ant in utero, menant \u00e0 l'adaptation psychosociale et scolaire chez les enfants et les adolescents. Elle adopte une perspective de dur\u00e9e de vie pour \u00e9tudier les associations entre l'adversit\u00e9 familiale pr\u00e9coce (par exemple, les probl\u00e8mes socio-\u00e9conomiques d\u00e9favoris\u00e9s, les probl\u00e8mes de sant\u00e9 mentale des parents) et les mauvais r\u00e9sultats des enfants, et pour tester l'efficacit\u00e9 des programmes de pr\u00e9vention bas\u00e9s sur la population. Ses travaux portent sur la pr\u00e9vention de 3 probl\u00e8mes qui se chevauchent : l'inadaptation psychosociale, les probl\u00e8mes de sant\u00e9 mentale et les difficult\u00e9s scolaires. Elle a document\u00e9 les conditions dans lesquelles la garde et l'\u00e9ducation de la petite enfance peuvent favoriser le d\u00e9veloppement sain des enfants et r\u00e9duire les disparit\u00e9s sociales; et identifi\u00e9 des programmes pour am\u00e9liorer la qualit\u00e9 des services de garde offerts aux populations d\u00e9favoris\u00e9es. Ses recherches ont \u00e9t\u00e9 publi\u00e9es dans plus de 200 articles \u00e9valu\u00e9s par des pairs et son indice H est de 50 (9877 citations). Elle a form\u00e9 plus de 50 \u00e9tudiants dipl\u00f4m\u00e9s et stagiaires postdoctoraux. Elle a re\u00e7u des prix et distinctions nationaux et internationaux, notamment une bourse senior du Fonds de recherche du Qu\u00e9bec, des chaires de recherche aux Pays-Bas (Universit\u00e9 d'Utretch) et en France (Chaire Idex Universit\u00e9 de Bordeaux), et une bourse internationale Marie Curie. She is a member of the Centre for Health Outcomes Research (CORE) at the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre and a senior scientist affiliated with the Infectious Diseases and Immunity in Global Health Program. Dr. Bernatsky is the nominated PI of the CAN-AIM team (CAnadian Network for Advanced Interdisciplinary Methods for comparative effectiveness research), a pan-Canadian research network funded by the Drug Safety and Effectiveness Network (DSEN), a collaboration between CIHR and Health Canada. CAN-AIM team\u2019s mandate is to provide new, accurate data on long-term, real-world outcomes of drug therapies. Her work on drug safety and effectiveness includes a recent national project to establish a registry of patients exposed to biosimilar agents and their legacy drugs. Dr. Bernatsky is also a mentor within the CIHR Drug Safety and Effectiveness Cross-Disciplinary Training (DSECT) Program, which provides a training environment for future scientists in Canada regarding high-quality post-market research in drug safety and effectiveness.<\/p>\n<h2>\u00c9velyne Vinet<br\/><\/h2>\n<p>Dr. Vinet\u2019s research has focused on reproductive issues in women with rheumatic diseases, with the goal of improving reproductive outcomes in women with rheumatic disease and their offspring.\u00a0<\/p> <p>She has created the world\u2019s largest cohort of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) offspring, leading to novel findings on the increased risk of autism spectrum disorders, congenital heart defects, and stillbirths in SLE offspring. Using various administrative database sources, she has also evaluated other outcomes in SLE and rheumatoid arthritis. Currently, Dr. Vinet is establishing an international cohort of SLE pregnancies, conducting a randomized controlled trial to improve preeclampsia knowledge and aspirin adherence in pregnant SLE women, and performing a focus group study assessing pregnancy counselling in RA and SLE\u00a0women.<\/p>\n<h2>Ana\u00efs Lacasse<br\/><\/h2>\n<p>Dr. Ana\u00efs Lacasse holds a PhD in Pharmacoepidemiology and is an associate professor in the Health Sciences Department at the University of Qu\u00e9bec in Abitibi-T\u00e9miscamingue (UQAT) since 2009. In 2020, Ana\u00efs Lacasse obtained a Junior 2 research scholarship from the FRQS in partnership with the Quebec SUPPORT Unit (Support for People and Patient-Oriented Research and Trials). She leads the Chronic Pain Epidemiology Research Laboratory which is funded by the Fondation of the University of Quebec in Abitibi-T\u00e9miscamingue (FUQAT), in partnership with local businesses: the Pharmacie Jean-Coutu de Rouyn-Noranda (community pharmacy) and Glencore Fonderie Horne (copper smelter). As co-director of the Qu\u00e9bec Pain Research Network (RQRD), her research program aims at better understanding the treatment of chronic pain in the real-world clinical context.<\/p>\n<h2>Jessica Gorgui<br\/><\/h2>\n<p>Jessica Gorgui holds a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Biomedical Sciences and a Master\u2019s degree in Clinical Pharmacology from the University of Montr\u00e9al. She is currently completing her PhD in pharmacoepidemiology under the supervision of Dr. B\u00e9rard. While finalizing her thesis, she is also Dr. B\u00e9rard\u2019s pharmacoepidemiologist at CHU Sainte-Justine Research Center and the lead coordinator of the CONCEPTION Study among other projects. Jessica is also a lecturer at the University of Montreal, both at the undergraduate and graduate levels where she teaches epidemiology methods, perinatal pharmacoepidemiology and pharmacovigilance.<\/p>\n<h2>Sylvana C\u00f4t\u00e9<br\/><\/h2>\n<p>Sylvana C\u00f4t\u00e9 is a full professor at the School of Public Health at the University of Montreal, a Researcher at CHU Sainte-Justine\u2019s Hospital and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada. She heads the Observatory for Children\u2019s Education and Health <em>(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.observatoireenfants.ca\/en\/\">http:\/\/observatoireenfants.ca\/<\/a>) <\/em>and the Research Group on Children\u2019s psychosocial Maladjustment <em>(GRIP: <a href=\"https:\/\/grip-info.ca\/\">https:\/\/grip-info.ca\/<\/a>). <\/em>She studies life trajectories, beginning in utero, leading to psychosocial and school adjustment in children and adolescents. She adopts a life-span perspective to study the associations between early family adversity (e.g. socioeconomic disadvantaged, parental mental health problems) and poor child outcomes, and to test the efficacy of population-based prevention programs. Her work focusses on the prevention of 3 overlapping problems: psychosocial maladjustment, mental health problems, and academic difficulties. She has documented the conditions under which early child care and education can foster children\u2019s healthy development and reduce social disparities; and identified programs to improve the quality of child care services offered to disadvantaged populations. Her research was published in over 200 peer reviewed papers and her H index is 50 (9877 citations). She has trained more than 50 graduate students and postdoctoral fellows. She has received national and international awards and honors including senior fellowship from the Quebec Research Fund, Research Chairs in the Netherlands (Utretch University) and France (Idex Chair University of Bordeaux), and a Marie Curie International Fellowship. She has won the ACFAS award for the Quebec France cooperation and was named by Le Devoir newspaper among those who will make the year 2021.<\/p>\n<h2>Suzanne King<br\/><\/h2>\n<p>Dr. Suzanne King is Professor of Psychiatry at McGill University as well as a principle investigator at the McGill-affiliated Douglas Mental Health University Institute. After graduate training in psychology and educational research in Virginia, she conducted post-doctoral research at the Douglas, studying the family dynamics of people with schizophrenia. Her results led to the study of risk factors for mental illness, and of prenatal maternal stress in the development of psychopathology. Currently, her work is focused on three prospective longitudinal studies of children who were exposed to maternal stress in utero as the result of a natural disaster : The Quebec ice storm of 1998 ; Iowa floods of 2008 ; and Queensland floods in Australia in 2011.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Vanina Tchuente<br\/><\/h2>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Vanina Tchuente holds a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Health Sciences from the University of Ottawa and a Master\u2019s degree in Epidemiology from Laval University. She worked as research assistant at McGill, where she developed skills in analyzing data from administrative databases. She joined Dr. Berard\u2019s team as Biostatistician\/Epidemiologist at CHU Sainte-Justine Research Center in July 2019. <br \/><br \/>She is the biostatistician on the CONCEPTION Study.<\/p>\n<h2>Isabelle Boucoiran<br\/><\/h2>\n<p>Dr. Isabelle Boucoiran is Clinical Associate Professor at University of Montreal. She graduated at the University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis (France) in 2010. After a maternal-fetal medicine fellowship at UdeM and a fellowship in reproductive infectious diseases at the University of British Columbia, she joined the Public Health School of UdeM and the obstetrics and gynecology department of the CHU Sainte-Justine where she is co-director of the Women and children Infectious Disease Centre, a provincial referral centre for congenital infections. She is a member of the SOGC infectious diseases committee. Her main research interests are infectious diseases in obstetrics-gynecology and maternal-fetal medicine.<\/p>\n<h2>Anne Monique Nuyt<br\/><\/h2>\n<p>Dr. Anne Monique Nuyt is a full professor in the Department of Pediatrics at University of Montreal. She received her medical degree and pediatric residency training at the Universit\u00e9 de Sherbrooke, and her subspecialty in Neonatal-Perinatal medicine from McGill University. She pursued a research fellowship at the University of Iowa where she focused on perinatal cardiovascular physiology. She continued investigating cardiovascular science, supported by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, at the Coll\u00e8ge de France. In 1998, she joined the CHU Sainte-Justine Research Center where she is currently senior clinician-scientist. Her research is supported by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research and the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. She studies mechanisms of developmental programming of hypertension and cardiovascular dysfunction in children and adults who were born very preterm. She is an active board member of scientific societies (Developmental Origins of Health and Disease (DOHaD), International Society for Hypertension) and a member of grant peer-review committees (CIHR, HSF, FRQS). She has been awarded numerous prizes for her work.<\/p>\n<h2>Caroline Thanh Quach<br\/><\/h2>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dr. Caroline Quach is a Professor in the Departments of Microbiology, Infectious Diseases &amp; Immunology and of Pediatrics at University of Montreal. She is an adjunct Professor in the Department of Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Occupational Health at McGill University and a scientific collaborator at the School of Public Health at Universit\u00e9 Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) in Brussels. She is the physician in charge of Infection Prevention and control at CHU Sainte-Justine where she also works as a pediatric infectious diseases specialist and medical microbiologist. Dr. Quach is a clinician-scientist, who was supported by the Fonds de Recherche Qu\u00e9bec \u2013 Sant\u00e9 (FRQS, chercheure boursi\u00e8re de m\u00e9rite) and is now the Canada Research Chair, Tier 1 in Infection Prevention and Control. Her research interests are in Infection Prevention: both healthcare associated and vaccine preventable diseases. Dr. Quach is the former Chair of the National Advisory Committee on Immunization from the Public Health Agency of Canada (2017 2021). She is a former president from the Association for Medical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (AMMI) Canada (2014 2016). She was named Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences and of the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America. Dr. Quach was selected as one of the 2019 most Powerful Women in Canada (2019 Top 100 Award Winner in the Manulife Science and Technology category). In May 2021, she received the Order of Merit from University of Montreal.<\/p>\n<h2>Ema Ferreira<br\/><\/h2>\n<p>Ema Ferreira completed a Bachelor\u2019s and a Master\u2019s degree in Pharmacy from University of Montreal. She pursued her education with a graduate Pharm.D. program at the University of British Columbia and a residency in perinatology at BC Women and Children\u2019s Hospital and Long Beach Memorial Hospital. She has a joint position between CHU Sainte-Justine and Faculty of Pharmacy where she is a full clinical professor teaching obstetrics and gynaecology therapeutics. At CHU Sainte-Justine, she is actively involved in patient care and is involved in research projects. She is the author of numerous publications and conferences on contraception and, drug use during pregnancy and lactation. She co-directed the publication of two editions of \u201cGrossesse et allaitement: guide th\u00e9rapeutique\u201d. A third edition will be published in 2022.<\/p>\n<h2>Val\u00e9rie Zaphiratos<br\/><\/h2>\n<p>Dr. Valerie Zaphiratos is an Obstetric Anesthesiologist who completed her Obstetric Anesthesia fellowship training at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada and her Anesthesiology residency at University of Montreal. She is currently the Assistant Chief of Anesthesia at Maisonneuve-Rosemont hospital in Montreal and is responsible for Obstetric Anesthesia. She is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Montreal and her research interests include uterotonics, labour pain, and morbidity of uterine repair during cesarean delivery. Flory \u2018research program aims to reduce medications errors in patients with low kidney function. He conducts populations-based studies to inform safer prescribing practices for older adults with chronic kidney disease using routinely collected healthcare data in Ontario (one of the few jurisdictions worldwide with linked population-based kidney lab data). He also plans to conduct pragmatic trials to implement educational intervention in primary care setting to help primary care doctors to make fewer medication errors in patients with low kidney function. Dr. Muanda\u2019s background is diverse with an extensive experience in conducting health services research. He trained as a physician and worked as a clinical investigator on several randomized clinical trials.<\/p>\n<h2>Ruth Rennicks White<br\/><\/h2>\n<p>As a founding member of OMNI, Ruth has an extensive background in obstetrical nursing of over 35 years, business management and over 20 years of clinical research experience, which has been instrumental as the Research Manager for the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Newborn Care at The Ottawa Hospital and the OMNI Research Group at the OHRI. She provides guidance and mentorship to the research team members and is instrumental in the development, implementation and progress of all protocols, and all fiscal aspects of the group. More recently Ruth has also assisted other groups, in the role of Acting Scientific Manager for BORN Ontario and then the Manager of Operations for the mHealth program and the CANImmunize app at The Ottawa Hospital.<\/p>\n<h2>Canada:<\/h2> <h3>Manitoba<\/h3>\n<h2>Dan Chateau<br\/><\/h2>\n<p>Dan Chateau is a Research Scientist at the Manitoba Centre for Health Policy and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Community Health Sciences at University of Manitoba. He completed a PhD in Cognitive Psychology at the University of Western Ontario, and has conducted research at both MCHP, and as a consultant in the Biostatistics Consulting Unit in the Max Rady College of Medicine, Rady Faculty of Health Sciences. These positions provided a strong base in health services research and quantitative research methods. Dr. Chateau has worked on a broad range of projects for organizations as diverse as the Division Scolaire Franco-Manitobaine, WRHA, Manitoba Health, the Canadian Science Centre for Human and Animal Health, and with numerous clinicians, such as ICU specialists, pharmacists, nurses, and members of other departments at the University of Manitoba and beyond. In addition to contributing to numerous deliverables at MCHP, at present Dan is a member of the quantitative methods team for the Canadian Network of Observational Drugs Effect Studies (CNODES), and a co-PI on a large multi-year grant investigating the effects of policies and interventions on health equity in Manitoba\u2019s children.<\/p>\n<h2>Sherif Eltonsy<br\/><\/h2>\n<p>Dr. Eltonsy is a pharmacoepidemiologist with an academic focus on drug safety and effectiveness and real-world evidence. He holds a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Pharmacy and Master\u2019s and PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the Universit\u00e9 de Montreal. He completed a Post-doctoral Fellowship at the Centre de formation m\u00e9dicale du Nouveau-Brunswick (Universit\u00e9 de Sherbrooke and Universit\u00e9 de Moncton) and worked as Pharmacoepidemiologist with the Maritime SPOR SUPPORT Unit (MSSU). Throughout his academic progress, Sherif accumulated numerous honors including the Rising-Star Award in two Canadian provinces. Dr. Eltonsy is a Research Scientist at the Children\u2019s Hospital Research Institute of Manitoba (CHRIM), also a member of the Canadian Network for Observational Drug Effect Studies.\u00a0Dr. Eltonsy main area of research is drug safety evaluation with a special focus on mother-infant health. The Eltonsy lab aims to provide clinically relevant evidence that improves prescribing standards for pregnant women and facilitate evidence-based decision-making by health professionals and policy makers.<\/p>\n<h2>Canada:<\/h2> <h3>Saskatchewan<\/h3>\n<h2>Brandace (Brandy) Winquist<br\/><\/h2>\n<p>Brandy Winquist holds a Bachelor\u2019s degree (hons) in Sociology and Master\u2019s of Science in Community Health & Epidemiology from the University of Saskatchewan. She obtained her PhD in Community and Population Health Sciences in 2014, after completing a strategic training fellowship in the CIHR-funded Community and Population Health Research training program. Brandy has led and collaborated on research studies in the areas of maternal and child health, health services and population health. As an investigator in the Canadian Network for Observational Drug Effects Studies and the Saskatchewan lead for the Canadian Mother Child Cohort, she has co-lead multi-province studies investigating maternal-infant outcomes following prenatal exposure to prescription medications. Brandy is an adjunct professor in the College of Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan and a member of the Saskatchewan Health Authority\u2019s senior leadership team providing oversight for the research, ethics, and academic health sciences departments. She is the Chair of the Saskatchewan Epidemiology Association. Brandy\u2019s work within the health system has enabled her to cultivate expertise in areas of real-world evidence, medical ethics, and data systems.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Canada:\u00a0<\/h2> <h3>Alberta<\/h3>\n<h2>Padma Kaul<br\/><\/h2>\n<p>Dr. Padma Kaul is a Professor in the Department of Medicine, an Adjunct Professor at the School of Public Health, and Co-Director of the Canadian VIGOUR Centre at the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada; and an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Population Health Sciences, Duke University, Durham, North Carolina. She holds a CIHR Sex and Gender Science Chair and a Heart & Stroke Chair in Cardiovascular Research. Dr. Kaul is an epidemiologist and policy analyst by training. One of her primary interests is looking at the burden of heart disease in women relative to men. She has expanded her interest in women\u2019s health by developing a longitudinal pregnancy and birth cohort to study the downstream effects of pregnancy-related complications and medication use during pregnancy on the development of chronic disease in both the mother and the child. Dr. Kaul has extensive experience working with population-level administrative data, clinical registries, as well as large, multinational clinical trials using an integrated database that links inpatient, outpatient, and vital statistic databases to examine cardiovascular care in Canada.<\/p>\n<h2>Canada:<\/h2> <h3>British Columbia<\/h3>\n<h2>Gillian\u00a0Hanley<br\/><\/h2>\n<p>Dr. Gillian Hanley is an Assistant Professor in the department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at the University of British Columbia. She is a CIHR New Investigator and Michael Smith Foundation Scholar. She obtained her BSc at Dalhousie University where she did a combined Honours in Biology and Economics, followed by a MA at McMaster University in Economics with a concentration in health economics. More recently, she completed her doctorate studies at UBC in the School of Population and Public Health. Her research focus combines her substantive interest in women\u2019s health with her training in economics, health services research, and epidemiology to answer questions related to gynecologic cancer, primarily ovarian cancer prevention, as well as healthy reproduction and pregnancy.<\/p>\n<h2>Tim Oberlander<br\/><\/h2>\n<p>Dr. Tim Oberlander is a physician scientist whose work bridges developmental neurosciences and community child health. As a clinician, he manages complex pain in children and has a particular interest in managing pain in children\/youth with developmental disabilities. As a researcher, his primary interest has been in studying how early life experiences shape stress\/pain and related neurobehavioral outcomes during childhood. Dr. Oberlander\u2019s work extends from molecular\/genetic studies to population epidemiological studies that characterize neurodevelopmental pathways that reflect risk, resiliency and developmental plasticity. Outcome measures include studies of pain reactivity, attention, mood and executive functions across early childhood. The goal of Dr. Oberlander's work is to understand how and why this happens.<\/p>\n\n<h2>Democratic Republic of Congo<\/h2>\n<h2>Yves Mufike<br\/><\/h2>\n<p>Dr. Yves Mufike obtained his diploma in General Medicine at the University of Kinshasa in 2013. Currently, he is training at the Department of Family Medicine of the Protestant University in Congo and provides consultations in general medicine. Dr. Yves Mufike is as a clinical medical doctor with 7 years experiences in Clinical Medicine and prevention of infectious diseases, particularly neglected tropical diseases.<\/p>\n<h2>USA:\u00a0<\/h2> <h3>Connecticut<\/h3>\n<h2>Kieran John O'Donnell<br\/><\/h2>\n<p>Dr. O\u2019Donnell is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at McGill University. He obtained his PhD in Clinical Medicine from Imperial College London in 2011 and conducted his postdoctoral research studies at the Douglas Research Centre. He is an expert in perinatal influences on early-childhood development, and the biological embedding of early adversity. His work examines how the early environment shapes child development and combines genetic, epigenetic and epidemiological approaches to identify those at-risk for adverse mental health outcomes. He also seeks to understand the molecular mechanisms by which positive and nurturing environments mediate their positive effects on child neurodevelopment.<\/p>\n<h2>France:<\/h2> <h3>Lyon<\/h3>\n<h2>Behrouz Kassai<br\/><\/h2>\n<p>Behrouz KASSAI is a pediatric pharmacologist specializing in public health. His hospital activity is focused on the evaluation of drugs and diagnostic tests, and the implementation of their results in practice. He has 17 years of experience in the design, conduct and publication of clinical trials, translational research and meta-analyses in the field of cardiovascular disease, pediatrics and rare diseases. Assistant lecturer in the Department of Clinical Pharmacology since 1999 and at the Center for Clinical Investigation (Inserm-Hospices Civils de Lyon) since 2003, he directs the pediatric research activity, a team of 25 members. In 2016, he created the Pharmacotoxicology department at the Hospices Civils de Lyon (HCL), joining the two departments of Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacovigilance-Antipoison Center. In 2018, he was appointed head of the new \u201cClinical Epidemiology\u201d department. Deputy to the head of research activities at the Public Health Center since 2019, he drafted the scientific strategy of the Public Health Center, and research in pharmacoepidemiology at the HCL.<\/p>\n<h2>Sabine Mainbourg<br\/><\/h2>\n<p>Dr Sabine Mainbourg is a medical physician working in the Internal Medicine department at the Lyon Sud Hospital (France). She also teaches therapeutics to Claude Bernard University medical students (Lyon). In parallel, completed her PhD, studying morbi-mortality and therapeutics impact in giant cell arteritis. Interested in pharmacoepidemiology, she has started her postdoctoral training at CHU Sainte-Justine Research Center in June 2022. She will focus on the immunosuppressants exposure consequences during pregnancy funded by the Fond de Recherche Qu\u00e9becois \u2013 Sant\u00e9.<\/p>\n<h2>China:\u00a0<\/h2> <h2>Zhengzhou<\/h2>\n<h2>Chongjian Wang<br\/><\/h2>\n<p>Chongjian Wang holds a bachelor\u2019s degree in Preventive Medicine, a master\u2019s degree in Nutrition and Food hygiene and a Ph.D. in Epidemiology and biostatistics from the Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science & Technology in China. From 2012-2013, Dr. Wang conducted postdoctoral research studies at the University of Montreal and the CHU Sainte-Justine Research Center. In 2008, Dr. Wang joined the School of Public Health at Zhengzhou University. Chongjian Wang is currently a Distinguished Professor at the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Zhengzhou University, and the Chair of the Henan Rural Cohort Study including in 39259 rural residents in China. He has authored over 200 peer-reviewed scientific papers and 9 book chapters.
