Our Study

Survey

To capture the stress and changes experienced by pregnant women during the COVID-19 pandemic, we invite women aged 18 years old and older who are currently pregnant or who delivered since March 13 th , 2020 to join our study. The team shares the study on various social media platforms to maximise reach and produced a short video to increase visibility and trigger interest.

Follow-up

We invite participants currently pregnant to participate in a follow-up study at two months after their expected delivery date. The new questions focus on the changes since the first questionnaire, but also includes questions about the childbirth experience and the early weeks since delivery, with a continued focus on the effects of the pandemic.

Linkage

All our participants are also invited to give us their permission to link their questionnaire data with their administrative health data (medical and pharmaceutical services utilization, prescription fillings, hospitalizations). This linkage will allow us to determine any relationship between added burden during the pandemic and increased use of health services.
